Choose an ASHI Inspector with a broad knowledge of St. Louis Homes and building practices.
The Home Inspector is a St. Louisan, born and bred. Jeff Massey grew up in St. Louis County where he went to grade school and high school, then on to St. Louis University. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Shortly after college, he formed a partnership with family members to buy multi family buildings in the city of St. Louis. This involved a lot of hands on remodeling work and by age 30, Jeff had been a part of the revitalization of many buildings. Fast forward a couple decades and the opportunity to become a home inspector presented itself in 2011. Jeff apprenticed under an Engineer/Inspector named John Peters. After training with senior inspectors for a year and half, Jeff began inspecting on his own. He has passed the National Home Inspector’s Exam and attends monthly continuing education classes and seminars with the local ASHI chapter. Our inspections are all fully covered by general liability and E&O insurance.
Our Mission
The basis of how we do our job is spelled out in the ASHI code of ethics. This code is found on the American Society of Home Inspectors website. Our goal is to perform a professional inspection and do so without any conflict of interest in our business relationships. We strive to hear and understand the needs of our customers. We want to create accurate reports about the buildings we inspect, with particular regard to special concerns of our clients — especially safety concerns surrounding children or handicapped people who may occupy the home. We strive to create reports that are easy to understand both for our clients and those they need to share it with in future negotiation. Years of experience in clear communication of the written word helps us achieve this end.
